I bought this box to run a pair of 12 AWG speaker cables out to my deck and keep the connections as out-of-the-weather as possible.
the box does that extremely well, the front translucent plastic cover snaps firmly into place and has a couple of options for getting the cables running out while shut
the box comes with two depths of screws which is a nice touch. It also came with some adhesive putty in a roll for sealing the enclosure to the house even better.
the box came with an outlet and a decora plate.. really not sure why exactly, but I can't complain about that.
it works well, appears to be made pretty well and is plenty deep for pretty much any application.
