I bought this box to run a pair of 12 AWG speaker cables out to my deck and keep the connections as out-of-the-weather as possible.
the box does that extremely well, the front translucent plastic cover snaps firmly into place and has a couple of options for getting the cables running out while shut
the box comes with two depths of screws which is a nice touch. It also came with some adhesive putty in a roll for sealing the enclosure to the house even better.
the box came with an outlet and a decora plate.. really not sure why exactly, but I can't complain about that.
it works well, appears to be made pretty well and is plenty deep for pretty much any application.

These are really nice boxes. Very deep, very well protected from the weather. Even my electrician was impressed. I have two now, near the front entrance and for Christmas lights and the porch light they are barely noticeable. There was nothing like them at Home Depot or Lowes (although they had some cheaper alternatives). They were worth the extra money IMHO.
